The executive team has a combined experience of over 60 years. Together the team has extensive experience consisting of payroll, human resource management, benefits administration and value personalized customer service. 

Martin Balcome - CEO

Martin is a life-long, second generation entrepreneur who has owned and operated multiple successful enterprises throughout Nova Scotia and Canada at large. Martin has a vast volume of experience in the fields of staffing and recruitment, including his 20+ years serving as the President and CEO of BMI Ltd. He has served as the President of Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) Atlantic Canada - an organization in which he is still involved. Martin is a passionate leader and co-worker who consistently prioritizes the most integral part of any business - the people.

In addition to his pursuits in commerce, Martin is a passionate local community leader - he believes in the power of rural commerce and has spent over 15 years as a board member for a local concervativcy group. His dedication to the people around him goes far beyond his employees, stretching to his neighbours, clients and his community at large. 


Crystal Milbury - Director of Finance

Crystal Milbury is a BBA graduate who has also achieved her Certified General Accountant designation. Her professional background spans 20+ years in the fields of payroll, budgeting, analytics, accounting and compliance. Crystal spent much of her professional career at a publicly traded company with decades of history in the Canadian food processing industry.

Crystal moved to in September of 2020, increasing the depth of the organization's finance and payroll abilities. She brings with her a valuable skill set and wealth of experience in financial analytics as the company’s new Director of Finance. Crystal is an advocate for small business and has volunteered her time towards various community-based causes over the years.


Rachel Anthony - Accounting & Systems Specialist

Rachel Anthony’s educational background lies in business information technologies, accounting and payroll administration. She has completed multiple training courses with the Canadian Payroll Association and continues to advance her knowledge of the space through continued learning opportunities.

Rachel’s time in the international payroll space spans over the course of three decades. Her time at was preceded by a 22 year tenure working in accounting and payroll administration, both in Canada and the USA, for union and non union clientele. Rachel joined as an important and valued member of our team in November of 2020. 


Tara Green - Resource Coordinator

Tara Green is an experienced professional with expertise in varying fields, including finance, procurement and administration. A new addition to the management team, Tara most recently spent over six years as a Sr. Procurement Voucher Coordinator with North America’s leading seafood processor High Liner Foods. Previous to that, Tara managed North Sails Atlantic’s office, where she was responsible for human resources, financial record maintenance and administration.

In addition to working with globally renowned canadian companies, Tara has established roots in her Nova Scotian community. She has volunteered her time to coach and manage youth soccer, inspired for 15 years as a girl guide leader and sat as an executive for a local swimming pool.
